Kos’ truly captivating mix of beaches and resorts is easily vast enough to warrant a holiday extension, with its selection of wonderful getaway zones easily accessible by foot or by hire car. Parents – if your not too busy careering down waterslides – should visit the highly acclaimed Elixir Thalasso Spa, which offers all manner of soothing treatments and remains one of Greece’s top spa complexes. Again a hire car is essential, although a taxi can be arranged from your hotel.
